Deploying SSL Certificate Monitoring on a server with OneAgent gives you peace of mind, and it will monitor the SSL type certificates 24x7 with a certain frequency, like every 1hour, 2hours, etc. It automates certificate discovery, provides timely alerts, and ensures your applications remain secure and trusted. An expired or misconfigured SSL certificate can cause application downtime, browser warnings, and loss of user trust. For organisations running critical workloads, this is a simple yet effective way to avoid SSL‑related issues.
Why SSL Certificate Monitoring Is Important
- It prevents unexpected application downtime due to expired certificates
- Avoids browser security warnings and customer impact in Production
- Ensures compliance with security and audit requirements
- Enables proactive alerting before certificate expiration
- Reduces manual tracking of certificates across environments
